Many thanks to Jervis Printers for rushing around getting our certificates printed with short notice. The free spaghetti was a nice touch from them lol
Thank you to all who helped out on the day to set up, referee, run events, manage teams, support everyone, write out certificates lol, as you can imagine there were one or two!
Thank you to all the children for being so well behaved, Thank you to young Dan for providing us with our Drama on the field! We are seriously glad to hear that you have not broken anything and that you are mending well! On a serious note don’t forget to get down to see how to train your dragon 2!
Westbury Cobras under 14’s (Start of 2014-15 Season / Year 9 High school in September ), have currently got vacancies for 2 players, preferably defenders. We play in the North Bury Junior Premier Division, so it is preferred that you have the ability and desire to compete and want to learn to this high level.
We are an established and well run team with a great team spirit. In return you will receive a high level of coaching, (On Wednesdays @The Barracks in summer & Radcliffe Borough in winter) from an ex Professional player who puts player enjoyment and development as the main priority.
Saturday 12th April 14, 4pm @ the Barracks saw some very excited under 5's and 6 year olds as we got together for their first real match outside, we prepared the children well for british football and the rain did not disappoint! End result very happy, wet chilldren. A great big thank you to all our first time supporters for braving the weather and pulling together to set up the nets and respect barrier. Thanks to the Dad's who bravely did their first time managing and refereeing, the children really appreciate all your efforts and are so proud of you. Here's to many years of great football.
***Soccer School is now outside @ The Wellington Barracks, Bexley Drive, BL8 2XD on Mondays 6-7pm,***
See you all there.
